Loading the screenshot editor…

Quick answer

Add your screenshots, choose a store preset such as 1206 × 2622 for iPhone or 1080 × 1920 for Google Play, frame each image, and export. The tool resizes with your browser's Canvas API, so nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.

How to resize screenshots for the stores

1

Add your screenshots

Drop PNG, JPEG or WebP files into the editor. They stay in your browser.

2

Choose a device preset

Pick an Apple iPhone or iPad size, a Google Play size, or enter custom dimensions.

3

Crop, fit or pad

Drag and zoom to frame each screenshot, or keep the whole image with a background color.

4

Export PNG or JPEG

Download a single file, or a ZIP when you have several. Filenames never collide.

Common store screenshot sizes

A few of the sizes built into the presets. The tool covers every size Apple lists for iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape, plus Google Play phone and tablet sizes.

Why exact pixel sizes matter

App Store Connect and Google Play Console reject screenshots that don't match their size rules, and stretching an image to fit makes your listing look careless. Cropping to the right aspect ratio first keeps the important part of the screen in frame.

Private by design

Decoding, cropping and export all happen in your browser. Unreleased app screens never touch a server.

Exact dimensions

Presets come from the store documentation, and custom sizes are validated before you export.

Batch to ZIP

Resize a whole set at once and download a single archive with safe, unique filenames.

EXIF-aware

Photo orientation is applied before any crop is calculated, so rotated images come out upright.

Frequently asked questions

What size should App Store screenshots be?

Apple lists exact pixel sizes per device class. For iPhone, the Dynamic Island medium size (1206 × 2622 portrait) must be provided at least once; for iPad, the 13-inch size (2064 × 2752 or 2048 × 2732 portrait) is required if your app runs on iPad. Pick a device preset in the tool and it fills in the exact dimensions.

What size should Google Play screenshots be?

Google Play publishes constraints instead of a fixed list: each side between 320 and 3,840 px, the long side at most twice the short side, and JPEG or 24-bit PNG without transparency. 1080 × 1920 portrait (or 1920 × 1080 landscape) is Google's recommended phone size.

Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?

No. Images are decoded, cropped and exported by your browser using the Canvas API. They never leave your device, and you can check this in your browser's network tab.

Will my screenshot be rejected if the pixels match?

Matching dimensions is necessary but doesn't guarantee approval. Stores also review content, transparency, and format rules. The tool warns about common problems, such as transparency in Apple screenshots or alpha channels on Google Play.

What is the difference between Crop to fill, Fit and Pad?

Crop to fill scales the image to cover the frame and lets you drag and zoom to choose what stays. Fit keeps the whole image and leaves empty space transparent (PNG). Pad keeps the whole image and fills empty space with a background color you choose.

Can I resize many screenshots at once?

Yes. Add several screenshots, pick one size, and export them together as a ZIP. Each image keeps its own crop position.

Shipping a lighter app too?

Screenshots are sorted. The images inside your app bundle are next: TinyPixels compresses them offline on Mac and Windows, with no upload and no subscription.
